Weird. But I don't feel the need to announce to someone that I'm blocking or muting them. I just do it, and whistle along with my day.

My daughter always had to tell someone when they were no longer her friend… this was in kindergarten… but she’ll still use it even now.
@LiberalLibrarian My block list grows exponentially on the bird and thread sites, and I never tell anyone I'm going to do it. There's no point in it.
@LiberalLibrarian Depends on the platform and the situation. If I think they're from East of the Don, I tend to point that out to any observers before I slam the door. Otherwise, yeah, silence is golden.
