I'm realizing that I need to approach life with a more positive attitude. Sure, they day may go pear-shaped. But if I wake up every morning with "Oh, what fresh hell is this?", I'm guaranteed stress.
I've always felt that pessimism was less disappointing than optimism. When things go to shit, you're not caught unaware and when they go well, you're pleasantly surprised.
