@TwiHusband Yes, the message popped up at the bottom of the screen when I tried to follow an embedded tweet from my blog.

The "data scraping" thing doesn't make much sense. There's no way it became a problem so suddenly that #Twitter didn't have time to put in place some proper solutions that didn't result in basic functions being unavailable and vague error messages being the only response to trying to use them.
@LiberalLibrarian I wouldn't discount the singularity. There's a giant super massive ego involved. Probably weighs more than 10,000 solar masses.
