@CJShaneArtBooks On the spur of the moment, I've started collecting vinyl. Our FOL had two boxes brimful of albums, and I bought them for $20. Writing and music are my salves.
@LiberalLibrarian Lucky you! I can't imagine life without music. I had vinyl years ago but gave them away when I went to live in Mexico for a while. Oh well....
I read a scifi book recently, Project Hail Mary, in which the "aliens" spoke to each other in musical tones. The human learned to play the piano to talk with them. Charming.
