No. We are not "hiding from the world" on CoSo. Twitter isn't "the world". The greatest lie is that it encompassed reality. It doesn't, and never did. All the people I see on here daily engage with the world fully and more meaningfully than anyone chasing clout on Twitter.
not sure I wanna know what inspired that, but always strikes me how folks seem to think about online & offline as different things
if I walked into a bar and there was a group of folks shouting slurs and fighting, I would leave
if I walked into another bar fulla awesome folks, I would sit down, jump into a conversation when I felt comfortable, and eventually buy everyone a round
