Well. While the rest of Canada and the US were freezing, California was an oasis of squee. But it seems we're in for roughly two weeks of rain.

@Susandoyle It's supposed to be raining cats and dogs on NYE. I shall be at the library that day. I predict NO ONE will be coming in, aside from the homeless looking for somewhere dry and warm.
