Me trying to figure out how to install software from Github without a Windows executable.
@LiberalLibrarian if you can't build the executable yourself, try googling the name of the program and windows exe
@ibid It's an addition to Scan Tailor, which I have.

@ibid Oh, thanks. I don't want to put anyone to any trouble. Scan Tailor original is perfectly fine for my needs. I'll keep poking around. There *are* instructions, but my brain isn't working at the moment due to the home organizing I'm doing right now.
@LiberalLibrarian no problem. that program looks like something I might be interested in I have a lot of old magazine articles that I need to scan in someday
