Up early, before the sun. Drinking coffee and listening to the great horned owl that frequents one of our trees just talking away. Such a wonderful sound to hear. Usually this owl isn’t as chatty as they are this morning. It’s kinda soothing in a way. I do love owls though, so that’s probably why.
Granted, all the small dogs are locked inside. 😁

@M1k3_f Good morning! We used to have 2 barred owls (hoot owls) somewhere in our neighborhood that would hoot to each other. It was so calming and peaceful, I could listen for hours. That was several years ago. Haven't heard an owl around here until a couple weeks ago, just one, but it was wonderful to hear. I love owls too, they are cool!🦉

This one loves one of our tall pines and is in it all the time. We usually hear it almost every night of the week, louder in warmer weather obviously as the windows are all open. I need to come up with a name after all this time. 😂
