@LnzyHou I think it’s so GOOD at it, too. As long as it’s not mistaken for a romantic comedy, it can be appreciated for the relationship horror story it is.

Watching Jerry Maguire is always stressful. The awkwardness in that movie is so successfully palpable that I watch it the same way I watch the flesh eating scenes in Walking Dead.

@Marlowe2 Women can be just as easily brainwashed to succumb to the toxic elements of the patriarchy as men can. Take Ann Coulter, for example, who thinks women shouldn't vote. Way too many women are anti-woman.

Is anyone an expert on public domain works? I’d like to quote a passage from an 1818 essay by Sir Walter Scott as part of the front matter in my forthcoming novel and just want to make sure the 100-years-since-death policy safely applies.

@CyclingChaplain I first saw it as a kid, watched it later and understood (or caught) a little more, and now, older, it’s different again. California Suite is fun in the same way.
