Had to do a post office run today (package needed mailing and I needed holiday stamps for Christmas cards). Glad I masked up before going in because they had about 25 of us in a small closed area standing in a line that doubled back and forth and only two of us were masked up - and several people were obviously having respiratory infection problems. Yikes. If the package wasn't going to my BFF who recently was diagnosed with cancer... I probably would have just left.
@LauraLyon451 Incredible. It amazes me why Americans hate masks so much. Everybody, and I mean everybody wears a mask here in Japan. Most of my family in the States have caught it and some of them have even been hospitalized. My aunt dies from it. But in Japan, none of my family or my wife's family have caught it.
