With any luck, this Toot doesn't age well, buuuut... congrats Dodgers. Amazing that out of 10 teams (if math serves, counting game 163), my 2 least favorites found a way to rise to the top as the two best. Earned and deserved. Enjoy your shot at the championship. As I hate both teams, my interest is non existent & for me, the Series simply isn't happening this year. May either team lose.
P.S. Brewers bullpening was a success. Made it go NLCS game 7. Solid strategy.
The best part of baseball game 7's is where the coach's throw the kitchen sink at the other team. Kershaw, who pitched a gem in game 5 is available for game 7.
We'll see just how much Harper (and Agent Boras) want him to stay in DC when he has to take less than offered elsewhere to stay in DC. I want him as far away from the NL East as possible, but he's homegrown in that franchise and every team should have that person.
Registering to vote...
To understand the push is to understand the need for the push. Voter turnout being my guess.
If I recall, you can register to vote at the same time you get your driver's license. I think it's literally checking a box. For some who can't or have no need to drive, it does make this an extra.
However, once you are...you can register 2b a mail in. The caveat is that you vote early. But how many people are still undecided? Advantage being voting at home (w/Google).
Not even mad that the Dodgers beat Milwaukee. Brewers are fun to watch and this just adds a game to their season. Hopefully they can take it in 6...so they take it in front of that home field crowd.
Brewers home crowd is HOT. Makes every glimmer of offense and defense from them feel like you have to see it.
Kershaw in the playoffs being Kershaw in the playoffs...AGAIN.
This time it's his fault.
That quick camera cut to Dave Roberts...I thought they were going to show him breaking something.
Kershaw in the playoffs being Kershaw in the playoffs.
(Mostly his catcher's fault here, to be fair...)
Can't escape the feeling that the Red Sux will win the DS, but my God am I looking forward to a game at Yankee Stadium with Angel Hernandez in charge of the strike zone (dude had 5 calls at 1B overturned last night).
Side note: back in 2004, the Yankees were the ones blowing the Sux out in the ALCS. Sux were down 3 games to none. Then they won 8 in a row.
This is where baseball superstition lives: https://twitter.com/KleinschmidtJD/status/1048047353045733378?s=09
Would I rather have the Yankees out and the A's in or the New York crowd through the playoffs? Almost a tough decision. Go A's.
Movie fan. Mets fan. I like to travel. Once scored a goal against a Jamaican soccer team in Cuba.
