Catching up on Letterkenny and I'm sounded the show has not already ended with a group orgy.

@F1r3_Dragon ... necessarily from.

My wife enjoys clarifying it to others though. Like I'm a novelty. It's not something I mind, but I can't help but think I feel the glaze pouring over someone's eyes when she goes into it.

There is also a minor internal struggle with declaring this place as "from". I think this is especially a thing when we travel.

@F1r3_Dragon so it's interesting. My wife is from here, I'm not. This is the only other place I've lived. It's funny because I couldn't wait to get out of where I lived because I saw no forward movement for the state, but being a transplant, there is a bit of pride in keeping a bit of home with you-even if it's just when people ask. I also have a license plate frame that indicates it. I just occasionally grow tired of saying "originally" as a clarifier because I live here, but am not...

Curious for the room's opinion.

Let's say after school you move somewhere else and build a career and along the way, a life and family. Fast forward 7 years and people ask you where you're from.

Do you say where you were born (assuming it's where you went to school) or the location of where you've built a life family?

How tired is one when you make at least one attempt to lock your house with your work key?

The Always Amazing documentary on YouTube about The Amazing Jonathan (free to watch) is such an odd combination of interesting, funny, and depressing. It's about 80 minutes long and we'll worth your time.

And yes, Hulu also has a doc on him coming in August.

Dark Phoenix being billed as the X-Men's final battle

Disney taking over

Dark Phoenix needs to destroy the world in the movie

...I swear I at least knew it was called the Iron Throne. Can't decide if calling it the throne made of swords is better or worse...

I love Colorado Springs...but my car hates it. Two radiator related repairs in three visits. I love the scenery, but it's not worth the stress. What's worse is that I can't take advantage of the dispensaries to help.

Call of Duty has apparently managed to release a new game every year since 2005?

I wonder if it would have been cheaper to just release huge updates (like a new/continued story) every year.

From my perspective, that just allows more time for tiny extras and dialogue. Renders and setting all done.

Wait...does no one actually sit on the throne made of swords? WHAT WAS THE POINT?

Holy Sh*t! Robert Pattinson is the new Batman! He has come a long way since he was dipped in glitter....and I've heard good things.

Hot take: The fact that there is only 1 song you ever hear from the Dropkick Murphys tells me they have only 1 good song.

Sure, when I first heard Shipping Off To Boston (did you really think another had a chance?) I tried diving into their music. Did the same w/ Flogging Molly (who are for the record....not as good). DM just has the 1 song.

Follow-up: are DMs concerts just 90 minute renditions of SOTB? I could see a drum solo accompanied by spraying a fire hose of Guinness into the crowd.

Just shy of 7 am and the temperature outside is...just shy of 70 degrees.

I love every about this weather.

@th3j35t3r I wonder how much press this gets?

Because, I mean...you'd think... if this was something he felt would get positive coverage... he'd be talking it up.

As opposed to doing a gladhanding friend a favor.

All That is returning to Nickelodeon.

On one hand I'm curious to see what they do...how it's changed and how it's the same fron when it made me cackle without fail every week.

On the other hand...dare I really dig deep into what I laughed at when I was like 8?

...shut up, farts will always be funny.

Quick thank you to Maria Brink and Lzzy Hale for taking away my ability to hear tonight. Fantastic stuff.

First concert in about 7 years tonight. Probably long enough to forget any reason for not liking concerts. Scratching a couple bands off the list is worth the <$10 tickets though.

@Klaatu_Veratta_Nectarine Shrimping? Yeah...our classes start with three versions...then forward and backwards rolls...then cartwheels...then the animal drills: bear, crab, monkey, and duck...THEN push-ups, sit ups, squat thrusts. I'm usually dripping in time for drills. That's the first 15 minutes of our 45 minute classes.

@Klaatu_Veratta_Nectarine I'm not sure what causes them in this case...it's really just residual pain that ends up landing as a headache. Sparring partner said he takes ibuprofen before class! (Body doesn't do preventative care for headaches like that).
