Sandman and Edward Cullen.
Look identical, but Sandman is obviously superior. I find myself questioning why no one parlayed this during the height of Twilight.
Then again, trying to elevate one at the cost of another could have had the opposite effect. Them twihards straight up took over sdcc for a few years.
@L_D_G I believe Joseph Gordon Levitt was actually trying to get a Sandman film or series made around that time. iirc starring and co-written by him. He tried for something close to a decade but couldn’t get it picked up. I don’t know that it was ever confirmed how far along it was before he threw in the towel but I get the impression it was just script and star.
