Maybe y'all can help. I have a Farmers Market friend who supports the market religiously, otherwise great with one excep. She is married, her husband is a good dude. Twice, she has suggested I need a neck massage, but today proceeds to practice on me. I said I don't like being touched, she suggested I did 'cause I didn't say anything the first time. HF, I am at the Farmers Market for chrissakes, not the effing Pony Ranch. Then she ponders what happened in my childhood. GROWL!

@USAPatriot my guess is that she either a. really believes in the power of massages or b. has seen people "flipped". Not cool that boundaries weren't respected, but likely done only out of good intentions.

Blaming it on your childhood I think isn't right, but I think indicates an immense trust in massage.

@L_D_G TY! Yes, she has Reiki training. It felt like the lunar rover was 4-wheeling across my deltoids. But, yes, she said, your shoulders tell me you need a massage. I'm like, no, no, please...

@USAPatriot ooohhh Reiki is it's own....interesting...technique in itself. IF that is where your "diagnosis" came from, just tell her you'll drink water and stretch.
