Xmas preparation is really tiring isn’t it? I’m excited for tomorrow though when the kids open their stuff.
@Kungfupussy It's definitely a lot of work, but I feel like it's a (not to get too corny) joyful exertion, same as all friend/family events that we host. I enjoy hosting and serving our loved ones well-appreciated meals and community events.
@Ironworker229 I love that. I feel like I've missed a huge chunk of the grow up side of hosting xmas. I'm sure if I still lived back home I would now be in the rotation of hosting everyone but over here I really like cooking for my family and even my ex husband comes over on holidays to chill with us.
