As it's the #Midsummer, which is kind of a big deal in #Finland, we've grilled and consequently scarfed down fairly ridiculous amounts of game and veggies over the past 48 hours.

I regret nothing.

We're at our summer house in the #Finnish #Archipelago, and just a minute ago we saw an elk swimming from one island to the next. Not a long stretch, about 150 meters which is nothing to an elk, but still.

Nice nature moments!

I've got this "Important Information" column on my #CoSo portal page that I can't figure out how to get rid of. I could use the screen estate.

Back in the #Finnish #Archipelago for the MIdsummer. Then, a few days of work next week, and four weeks of vacation starting July the 1st.

So good to be back here! So serene. Quiet. Beautiful.

I’ve not really enjoyed Star Trek: Picard, or ST: Discovery. They’ve been rather dark and quite different from the optimistic Star Trek I grew up with.

I’m four episodes in Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, and while it doesn’t exactly feel like the ” Classic” Trek, it’s been quite entertaining so far. Certainly much better than Picard, or Discovery.

I'm watching "Somebody Feed Phil" on Netflix, and it's just perfect for getting your mind off all the ugly things in the world right now, and bringing a lot of silly joy and drool (yes, watch it, and you'll get my drift) into this world.

Late this afternoon, we arrived at our summer place in the #Finnish #Archipelago.

Always good to come here. Away from the hustle and bustle of the day-to-day whatsit, and to the serenity and solitude of the archipelago.

Sauna warmed up. An adult beverage chilled. Bliss.

Tomorrow will be interesting, and slightly unnerving. But if all goes well — and it should — it’ll be worth indulging in a bottle of a bubbly stuff later that day.

We're here again for an extended weekend. It's pretty, as always, but that evening back in 2020 was particularly gorgeous.

Hey all! Fairly new to CoSo -- how do I embed, say, a Flickr photo to CoSo? The same way as on The Other Platform?

Apple Watch Walkie-talkie feature is very useful! Touch-and-hold seems to be a bit finicky -- tends to cut you off if your finger moves even slightly -- but activating "Tap-to-talk" in Settings->Accessibility works like a charm!

Moon Knight is actually pretty good! In S1E4 now, and it's not ridiculously over-the-top CGI action, but a fun Mummy and Indiana Jones kind of supernatural adventure.
