Say, does anyone know why pets sometimes get the zoomies? Generally about once a day, one of my dogs just starts running as fast as she can through the house, but there doesn't seem to be any common stimulus that would trigger her. I'm just curious.
@Kriselda Zoomies after poops I assume are endorphins from elimination. Not sure about random zoomies lol
@Sweetteansass interesting! Here's are totally random - at least the ones inside the house. She may go tarring around the back yard after doing her business there, though :)
@Kriselda we used to call it the screamy meamies as kids when our pup would do this. No explanation tho lol.
@Kriselda Our big ragdoll cat does the same zoomies, but only after he poops.

@Kriselda They might be smelling or hearing something that we can't detect? I read somewhere cats run after using the box because predators could smell it and then head their way.

@Kriselda Cats get those too... sometimes it seems to come right after they hit the litter box, guess they feel good afterwards, as well as feeling like they should run far away :)
