Happy Caturday! A thread:

(1)We went to a local shelter just to make donation & maybe visit with some kitties. We weren't necessarily ready to adopt & certainly did not seek out or budget to bring a sick cat home, but ... Jimmy chose us.

I spied Jimmy in a cage in the back corner. He was looking right at me as I was petting another cat. I went over and started talking to him, reached my fingers in to pet his head, and he rubbed and licked me. He looked so sad and sick. His fur was rough and sparse & it was like you could feel every bone in his body.

(3) He was definitely the cat that very few, if any potential adopters paid attention to.

And based on his appearance and his medical chart on his cage, he looked to me as though he was on his way out of this world.
