#ESA's #Hera is scheduled for launch on a #SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida, USA, today, Monday 7 October, at 16:52 CEST / 15:52 BST.
Hera mission will visit #Dimorphos — the asteroid that NASA's #DART (Double Asteroid Redirection Test) spacecraft knocked off course in September 2022. Hera will assess the aftermath of that impact and study both the surface and internal structure of the asteroid in greater detail.

#NASA and #SpaceX are standing down from the Oct. 10, launch attempt of the agency’s #EuropaClipper mission due to anticipated hurricane conditions in the area.
Once the storm passes, recovery teams will assess the safety of the spaceport and the launch processing facilities for damage before personnel return to work.
Launch window remains open until Nov 6th
