Larry L. Savage Jr., a candidate in the Republican 5th District primary held earlier this year, was arrested Tuesday morning by Madison County Indiana authorities and charged with destroying / misplacing a ballot and theft.

He literally stole ballots used for testing then went on SM to say the votes were off , and it was caught on tape

first order of Business for the House in 2025 is electing a leader. At that point every elected house member has no job, no staff. Technically no pay, office, or benefits until a house leader is chosen.

the only thing they can do is vote for a house leader

it will be Hakeem Jeffries. and once it happens, and his little speech, there are TONS of automatic procedural things that happen, one of those is certifying the election
