Father in law is in the Tampa Bay area. 4 unit apartment building with generator. No idea how close to sea level. Decided not to evacuate because "the eye will probably miss us"

:facepalm:

Told him Sunday to evacuate. Now it is too late and too much trouble.

And also now I probably going to lose my laser sailboat he was suppose to sell 2 years ago

Too many selfish people in the world

Father in Law is in Fort Myers south of the Caloosahatchee river, N of Palm Beach Blvd and west of I 75. Zone A

Zone A and B is under mandatory evacuation and he is staying

He is going to get flooded out Wednesday night. we told him to evacuate Sunday.

well, at least he has my sailboat to float around on if he remembers to put the drain plug in

well, at least I got a good Webcam looking over the south shore of the Caloosahatchee river that is about 300 feet west of where my father in law is.... who decided to not evacuate.

I figure if the bridge goes underwater so does my FiL

@Kinnison
I hope he'll be okay.

My sister is in Volusia County and she was still deciding where to go yesterday. I told her to save her phone battery, so I probably won't hear from her until this is over.
