While pulling Walz's hand towards him as an attempt of dominance, which pulls walz instead and does the opposite. That causes walz to turn and off square. Walz hand is covering his belly as a way of protection

Vance is overly aggressive, a bully and shows contempt.

Walz tries to be friendly but is taken aback by the hostility.
