Senior federal judge is the best gig. The one requirement is you do 25% of an active judge's work (you can do 100% if you like). You get office space, staff, etc, and more choice over assignments.
But they refuse, to ensure Biden can't appoint public defenders & civil rights lawyers. and are saving the openings for #FedSoc Judges
