Which for Bannon would mean being in jail past the Election instead getting out of before. I fully support his choice to do that if he wants.

the warrant issued when failing to report to jail is one of those "Go directly to jail, do not pass Gao, do not collect any Foreign Rubles" type warrants. at best he gets to spend some time out of his sell to show up in front of the judge and give his lawyer more billable hours.
you can try to appeal. But by the time the appeals courts even gets area to read it, the penalty is passed. Most Judges are very very frowny towards anyone who does not show respect the courts.
