Almost hit a person while on delivery. They were on sidewalk traveling the same direction as me. I was on alert because she looked like a student and might cross.

Designated crosswalk with an island and a "push to cross" buttons and signals

She just slapped the button and without missing a step try to cross without looking at traffic that was behind her and didn't see.

Slammed on my bakes and she crossed 2 feet In front of me and almost got hit by another car in the left lane that had to slam thier brakes

Which causes my loading strap to break. And my load to shift all the way to the front.

Yielding works both ways dear. You are going to end up in tge hospital if you keep doing that

@kismatt company vehicle. Not going to be aggressive even if i might have said a few words that would have made her blush

@Kinnison

It's the Year of Our Feline Overlords 2024 and people still don't understand that pressing the button doesn't make the lights change faster, much less instantly?

Pressing the button *gives you more time to cross* (the ones that work at all).
