Maurice Jimmerson walked out of jail today. He spent nearly 11 years behind bars, never officially convicted of a crime. The woman in pink is his daughter. It’s their first hug in more than a decade
oh I agree the system is rotten. How could the courts allow a Public defender to abandon him? was he pressured to do so, corrupt? or didn't care?
@Kinnison In order to get out of jail, though, he had to plead guilty to a few charges first. System is still fucked.
