I mean, they SAY they believe all kinds of things that they heard on AM radio, but the few of them that I've had actual face to face conversations with will admit that they don't when confronted with facts and a bit of ridicule in a mostly good-natured way. I'd guess that the majority know full well that they're full of shit and just don't want to admit their real motivations. In my limited personal experience, it mostly comes down to fear and racism. 🤷♂️

@Kinnison But the few that I've actually spoken with at some length DON'T believe and they get sheepish when I've called them on the BS, but that could certainly be a subset of the whole. They're larping. I do think that you're correct that it's a cult. A cult of grifters.
