- concurrently, the OpenAI board is looking to hire its own CEO, and has reached out to two candidates that we’ve spoken to, both prominent execs
The #OpenAI board has hired Emmett Shear as CEO, per Bloomberg and The Information. He is the former CEO of Twitch.
But Altman is demanding the board gets replaced as part of his rehire

This is admittedly very petty, but emotionally charged. People, like myself, who have ever lived in or near the great city of San Francisco do not call it "San Fran" or "Frisco". We call it by it's actual name, which is for Saint Francis, the patron Saint of the animal kingdom, or "The City".
