@Eridani No. It is all relative The LIGHT from the galaxy is over 15 billion years old and we are observing it when the universe was 300 million years old (after the big bang)
@Kinnison 300 million years old means it was created 300 million years ago. 300 million years post big-bang means it was created 13.5 billion years ago. That's a big difference.
