Had a rude awakening this morning. I poured the hot water into my IngenuiTEA teapot (https://www.adagio.com/teaware/ingenuiTEA_teapot.html), and the water came running out the bottom and onto the floor! First time that's ever happened. It's an old teapot - bought ages ago through ThinkGeek. Need to replace ASAP. Thank goodness I've got a backup.
