Almost finished reading Agnes Grey by Anne Bronte. I first read this novel about 20 years ago and didn't care for it but I am really enjoying the reread. Agnes Grey is not a very long book and it deals with a fascinating subject, the life of the governess in the 19th century. It was not an easy life and yet few options were open to women who needed to find a job to support themselves. Of course Anne Bronte's major classic is The Tennants of Wildfell Hall which I also highly recommend

🌻@KathyV Thanks for the recommendation.

Also, Good Tuesday Morning.🌻 ☕

@ACG2 I do recommend it. It's not a flashy book but the writing is very good, a window on what life was like for a young woman in the 19th century.
