I am thinking there are two kinds of Trump voters. The 25 % (according to an ABC poll) who still approve of him and the additional 20 % who don't want to vote for Trump but will do so if he is the nominee. And it's the latter group that interests me. They are working under the " I can't vote for a Dem and how bad can Trump be?" theory of politics. They are counting on guard rails. But the idea that Trump held back in his first term knowing he would have to face the voters hasn't dawned on them
