I have never felt DeSantis has plans to run for Pres in 2024. I could be wrong but I see two obstacles for him. Trump and Trump's supporters would never forgive DeSantis if he won the GOP primary and DeSantis knows this
Also even if DeSantis were elected President he would not be able to control the US the way he is running things here in FL. He wouldn't have a rubber stamp legislature and he knows this as well.
I think his ego will compel him to, assuming he turns things around.
Living in Florida (moved here 20 years ago, refuse to call myself a Floridian), he's a known entity. I'm just afraid of what could be waiting in the wings should we fail. We know there's Trump and Haley. I'm worried for a seemingly reasonable candidate who's MAGA in reasonable clothing.
Or even a seemingly reasonable candidate who is just there to rubber stamp the MTG, Boebert, Trump agenda.
