Its been a week since I left Twitter. The straw that broke the camels back was someone telling me to go back to my own country. He didn't like the fact I'm British living in the USA.
I've always admired America and it's a dream to call this my home. ❤️
@kimoak I am sorry about that and that's twitter for you and the new management there is making it worse. I am glad you are here in the US and as for me I have always admired England. It's not just the great writers: Austen, the Brontes, Dickens, George Gissing (my personal favorite) but it's also the Magna Carta and the tremendous courage the British people showed during the blitz in World War II I wish I could also be proud of America but we are so divided as a country.
@KathyV Thank you! The US has it's problems, but I love it here. The vast, bast majority of Americans I've met have been the absolute best and made me feel welcome. I never let the bad ones ruin it for the rest of you good people. ❤
