My first day in MazatlΓ‘n in 11 years, and it was a good one.
This is Plazuela Machado, in Old MazatlΓ‘n, just down the street from the hotel I'm staying in. Lots of human activity there, even on Christmas night.

This is Richard Parker. When I moved from Mexico to Canada in May, I had to separate him and Arenita, mainly because the two of them fought all the time. Richard now lives with a Mexican family in Guanajuato.

Here's Arenita on
Born in Mexico, moved to Canada with me. She doesn't normally watch TV, but she likes "Inside Llewyn Davis" and "The Crown".

My first in-person Remembrance Day in eleven years, and my first-ever in Kamloops. And for me and most of the people in the crowd, it was the first time we ever heard and/or sang "God Save the King" instead of "God Save the Queen".

My cat Arenita doesn't normally watch TV, but tonight I was watching the film "Inside Llewyn Davis", and one of the characters in that film, Ulysses, definitely caught her attention.

Made my first-ever trip to Wells Gray Provincial Park. Heavy snow is forecast for tomorrow, so today was my last chance to go there this year. This picture is Helmcken Falls.

Since lots of people here are posting pictures, this is Cinnamon Ridge, above the Kamloops Airport.
