My first in-person Remembrance Day in eleven years, and my first-ever in Kamloops. And for me and most of the people in the crowd, it was the first time we ever heard and/or sang "God Save the King" instead of "God Save the Queen".

And suppose that the next king isn't actually gracious? Would they change the lyric?

@bluesbaby No, certainly not on purpose. It's been "... gracious Queen" since 1952. That's a huge force of habit.
