@Chuckles In other words, the Conservatives stepped in it when they voted against the free trade agreement. They have figured out that they will lose the next election big time because of it, and are now trying to do damage control.
And, Poilievre's opposition to the carbon tax is a cheap political stunt, as is pretty much everything he advocates.
@KamloopsBob Actually they voted against the amendment (facts matter).
PPs "Axe the Tax" will be good for everyone (who pay taxes). Whereas the collection of the "Carbon Tax" isn't really helping anyone except to create a slushfund for more consultant fees (provided they are Liberal insiders).
Liberal Photo Ops and Summits aren't the solution. Have a look here and tell me which one of these actual solutions you disagree with and why.
@KamloopsBob Sorry, doubling my response here. If this is ALL the evidence you need, I would not want you in a jury pool.
@KamloopsBob Really? He took a stand against a Carbon Tax Amendment to an already existing free trade agreement.
The liberals played it well. Option 1 - He supports the Carbon Tax and Ukraine
Option 2 - He's against the Carbone Tax AND Ukraine
It was a masterful move but peeling back one layer of the onion shows what it really was. A cheap political stunt.
Do you have another example?
