Just finished the primary project for this weekend. I had to replace the hot water faucet stem in the shower in our master bathroom. That involves cutting off the main water supply to my house at the buried meter near the street. It's not the first time I've had to do this job. The beauty of experience is I got the job done in much less time, with far less effort, compared to the last time I had to do this about 7 years ago.

Lucky to have a master shutoff valve in the basement. Makes it easy to stop the water for a project.
