Kamala Harris just gave an amazing speech about her vision and plans for the economy. I like everything she said but the speech was directed at people who are already convinced to vote for her. Her message was too visionary and sophisticated to reach the independent/swing voter who only worries about their grocery bills. There is room for improvement there.

Right, the economy is actually doing pretty great. Also true, my weekly grocery bill pre-covid was about $65. Now weekly it's $145. Why am I supposed to be happy about this? Three years of inflation does not account for this kind of increase.
