Fallon: "Our understanding is that Trump’s handlers prefer the muted microphone because they don’t think their candidate can act presidential for 90 minutes on his own."
Looks like just the shovel he needs to reverse course and request the microphones be left on thru the debate.

He truly thinks he'll do better on an open mic. Then again, he also thinks he's a stable genius, better at war than the joint chiefs, has been better for "blacks" than Lincoln & MLK, Jr, had a bigger inauguration crowd than Obama, won the 2020 election....
So, everyone else knows where his mental acuity stands except him 😂
