Here's a thing a lot of white people don't get.
It's that you can be proud, passionately proud, of yourself and your identity, your family and your ancestors, your history and your culture.
And at the same time you can be proud to be part of a wonderful, rich, diverse, multi-cultural fabric of many identities and histories and cultures, without having to believe that you're better than any of them.
