I don't know why everyone is so astonished that Israel intelligence did not see the Hamas attack coming. The US didn't see 9/11 coming. Anytime you get a complacent right-wing idiot in power, crap like this happens.
@KDKeenan I doubt that it is that they didn't see it coming. I think that it is convenient to allow these things to happen.
After all, if you convince people to put up with your shit in the name of protection, unless some terrorists "sneak" by from time to time, the allure fades.
I don't mean these groups always know where and when. But I feel like they sometimes know it's coming eventually and leave the door open.
