This flu is no joke. It is kicking my butt -- 4x Covid vacc and recent flu vaccine, too. No fever, but hacking, unproductive cough x 3 days. Started as a sore throat over last weekend... Take care, everyone 🙏🏻

@a2dox It really is; I'm a tough old -- emphasis OLD (LOL) -- broad. I think I picked it up at grandson's (what HE must have gone through!!!) on a recent visit. Worth it to see him, but I can't remember feeling so ill... 💜

@Julie_in_FL Ugh! Hope you feel better soon. I feel your pain. I think my family caught a similar bug. No fever, started in the throat, cough, a congestion that lingers after, but multiple negative COVID tests over a few days. It has been unpleasant. Hope you come through the other side soon.
@pknanse EXACTLY! 3 Covid tests so far are negative. Sense of smell affected...not fun. Ribs hurt is worse, tho. Hoping for a better result soon, too.

One of my roommates is downstairs coughing up a lung as I type. She's sounds pretty bad. No fever thank goodness.

Had the same thing,Dr calling it viral. Had heart surgery earlier in the year. Asked for antibiotics to be safe. Cleared in 10 days. Cough was brutal.

@Julie_in_FL No fever, loss of smell really sounds like covid and not flu. Flu symptom #1 is fever but it's hard to know. Get well wishes..kick it back! 😘💕

3 folks in my bldge (2 on my floor) have tested covid +. My neighbor's symptoms are similar to yours. She was coughing so loudly and for so long today that I asked her to please call her doc. She did. She's lost her appetite, sense of smell and taste also.

@Bliss oooh, that's awful. I agree on the coughing...I came upon some Alka-Seltzer Plus Cold Citrus and dissolved 2 tabs in water. Took x2 yesterday and again this mid-day.
I don't know if it was a coincidence, but today it started breaking up in my chest, ears popping when clearing out my sinuses, but at least it's clearing out.

@Bliss I'm really hoping tomorrow will be MUCH better. In the meantime, I HAVE been behaving as if I was COVID positive -- Staying HOME, masking in public areas, etc.
