Tw could have remained a valuable platform to share reliable information and opinion, but the current failure to sift mis- and dis-information is leading to its demise. It's not easy to transfer a virtual network built over the years, but IMO, the smart people are actively moving to other site, including CoSo.

@rjatilley Energy costs (heat, cooling) is proportional to the temperature difference (delta T) between the interior of your house and the outside and the size of the house (heat transfer is proportional to the surface area.) Of course, insulation reduces heat transfer and drafts increase heat/cooling escaping.

@Shar19L I wouldn't call it addicted, but over the years I've met (virtually) many great people, that site was useful to share info, especially early during the. I reported mis/dis-info constantly. I'll admit its horrible now, a chore to move contacts to multiple other platforms.

@Squeezle Really. Residency can be complicated, but I'd like to see a reporter contact H's campaign and Ga SoS and examine the docs from declaring candidacy. (I own property in two states, but am a resident, vote, income tax, license in one.)

@TheNewsOwl I bought an electric heated footrest "Toasty Toes" in Dec 2020 for under my desk, 50 & 100 W settings, and barely detectable with socks. If you buy one, I rec 200 W minimum, but remember to turn it off when not in use.
