52 House Democrats originally voted supporting this bill that they are now blocking because it would give Trump unilateral authority to strip the nonprofit status of any organization that criticizes or questions him .

The bill, titled the Stop Terror-Financing and Tax Penalties on American Hostages Act, would grant the Treasury secretary power to revoke the tax-exempt status of any nonprofit deemed to be “terrorist supporting.”

Gee, I wonder why democrats would be so supportive of labeling whoever they wanted as supporting terrorism?

I swear, maybe if they put half their effort they use to stop progressives towards stopping trump, maybe he wouldn't have won?

Ugh. It's all so infuriating.

I remember Senator Obama voting for retroactive immunity for telecoms who were found to have committed domestic spying before the USA PATRIOT Act was signed

McCain voted against.

And I found out from listening to Maddow on the radio

TV Maddow hasn't been critical of anything the DNC has done since Obama gave her his First Interview as President.
