I remember when Carter was president and when he was defeated by Reagan. I was in the Army and knew the behind-the-scenes of how Reagan got the Iranians to delay releasing the hostages until after the election so Carter wouldn't get the credit he deserved.
People derided Carter, said he was a terrible president.
But with both his presidency and his life after, he has shown himself to be a truly decent human being and an example of the best of humanity.

I saw this and had to steal it.

Now that Republicans are becoming the permanent minority, they will say every election they lose is rigged, and they’ll lie, cheat, gerrymander, make it harder to vote, and destroy American education, so that future generations will be stupid enough to vote Republican again.

Permitless open carry is the dumbest, most reckless, most destructive idea ever.
