Before attributing all SCOTUS craziness to TFG and Trumpism, it's worth remembering that the most extreme members of the Court, Thomas and Alito, were appointed by Bush 1 and Bush 2.0 respectively. And their jurisprudence was foreshadowed by Antonin Scalia, a Reagan appointee.
GQP has been around for decades. Trump/MAGA is just an iteration of their regressive policies. Trump, their orange-skinned poster boy, is on his way out.
