People who think Greene will now run the House are vastly understating the difficulties the new GOP Speaker will face with less than a five vote majority:
2. There are a small handful of GOP representatives who will be happy to side with the Democrats on certain votes. There aren't many, but there are enough to make the Speaker's life miserable.
3. Add to this the fact that MAGA Republicans revel in their assholery. There will be some MAGA representatives who will gladly torpedo GOP initiatives so they can grandstand and say that these initiatives aren't MAGA enough.
Others will pull a Rand Paul and withhold their support from the GOP because of "principles"; e.g., they will only give support to a bill if the Speaker adds a rider for funding the purchase of an AR-15 for every kindergarten student in America.
People think that LA is "fruit and nuts country." Wait until they get a load of the new GOP House.
