Prediction: So long as Musk provides assurances that Saudi Arabia and China will not get users personal data, there is nothing to see here. But if Musk were to hand over users personal data to Saudi Arabia or China, it is possible that he would get away with it, given his nearly infinite resources.
@John_Scotus He's about to collect even more personal data by offering $8 verification to everyone on the site, meaning they'll all be sending him a picture of their photo ID with their home address printed right on the front. This, after reducing his security team drastically. Even if he doesn't hand that data over, the data is going to be compromised, and now WAY more data is going to be available. I can't fathom how someone would trust delivering their PI to the folks in charge of Twitter.
@John_Scotus I'm still amazed he hasn't told the blue checks to pay in Doge 🤦♂️
