the American chestnuts have flower buds, which is surprising since they froze all the early growth off in the early June freeze (they have their secondary leaves growing now). hopefully we can get some chestnuts this year
@redenigma We had two chestnut trees growing up. I hated to eat them, but the amount of people myth at would buy them for a stupid price still amazes me.

@redenigma I think they were Chinese Chestnuts, if my memory serves me.
